Elliot Wuu, age 15, has studied piano since age 6. He is currently a pre-college scholarship student of San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Yoshikazu Nagai. Elliot has won numerous state, national and international competitions. In 2015, he won First Prize in the Hilton Head International Piano Competition for Young Artists, Second Prize and special award in the 7th Yamaha USASU International Piano Competition, Third and Mozart Prizes in the Cleveland International Piano Competition. Other notable top prizes include First Prize and special award at the Kaufman International Youth Piano Competition, San Jose International Piano Competition, ENKOR Piano and Violin Competition, California State as well as the Southwest Division MTNA Competitions. Elliot is also a two-time First Prize and the special Centennial Award winner of the Pacific Musical Society Competition. Since 2014, Elliot has been named a young scholar of the Lang Lang International Music Foundation. In recent years, Elliot has performed in major venues across the globe. He performed at the United Nations with Lang Lang and he was also featured in NPR’s From the Top show broadcasted nationally.
