- The e-Piano Junior Competition will be held July 1-8, 2011 in the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul , Minnesota , U. S. A
- English is the official language of the competition. Please contact the competition with questions concerning the repertoire requirements and interpretation of the rules.
- Please read all rules and regulations carefully. It is your responsibility to make sure that your program complies with all requirements. Make sure to include timing of each work in your application as the time limits will be strictly observed during the competition.
- The e-Piano Junior is open to pianists of all nationalities who are no older than 17 years of age as of July 1, 2011 . To be eligible to participate in the competition the applicants must be born after July 1, 1993.
- Competitors must not have any other professional commitments during the e-Piano Junior. No contestant may have any member of the jury or the Artistic Director as a principal teacher during the five year period preceding the e-Piano Junior (July 1, 2006 through July 8, 2011). No relative of any juror or the Artistic Director may participate in the e-Piano Junior. Once the sixty participants are announced in December 2010, the competitors are not allowed to take part in masterclasses or private lessons with the jury members or Artistic Director. Any violation of this rule will be cause for the disqualification of the pianist.
- Contestants may not contact or speak with any member of the Jury, including the Artistic Director, as long as they continue to participate in the e-Piano Junior. Any violation of this rule will be cause for the disqualification of the pianist.
- It is the responsibility of the contestants to provide the Competition with a valid Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN) to receive any prize money.
- All participants must be accompanied by a responsible adult, or should make suitable arrangements with the Competition office prior to departure from their home country.

All video, audio and MIDI recordings, as well as photographs and interviews made during any of the events of the e-Piano Junior Competition will remain the sole property of the e-Piano Junior, Minnesota International Piano-e-Competition and Musicians in Debut International.
- Foreign contestants and their accompanying adults must obtain their own passports and visas. E-Piano Junior competitors admitted to the Recital Round should contact the nearest American Embassy or Consulate for advice. The contestants are responsible for the arrangements of their transportation to Minneapolis/St. Paul. The twenty-four contestants who come to Minneapolis/St. Paul will be reimbursed for the cost of economy class roundtrip air fare to Minneapolis/St. Paul from the country of their residence, or from any city in the U.S.A. (up to 1,000USD). The travel for the accompanying adult(s) will not be reimbursed. Those who choose not to come to Minnesota to compete will not receive any reimbursement. The competition will reimburse qualified contestants upon their arrival to Minnesota in July 2011. Please bring the receipts with you.
