Dr. Stella Sick

Stella Branzburg Sick received her early music education in Novosibirsk, Russia, at the Music Prep School (satellite of the Novosibirsk State Conservatory). Upon coming to the United States, she went on to earn her Bachelors and Masters of Music degrees at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, where her teachers were Nelita True and Natalia Antonova in piano, Jean Barr in chamber music, and Tony Caramia in pedagogy. She continued her studies with Alexander Braginsky at the University of Minnesota, where she was a recipient of Elinor Bell Fellowship.

Cirrently Stella is an adjunct assistant professor at Hamline University. She also maintains a small private studio. Stella has been a Managing Director of the Minnesota International Piano-e-Competition since June 2004.

After the Final concerto performances at the Orchestra Hall, the prizewinners of the e-Piano Junior Competition have been announced . . .
The website has been updated with the archived videos and MIDI files of all solo performances as well as photos from the e-Piano Junior competition. MIDI files will be up in the beginning of August..
