Andrei Shychko studies at the Belarusian State Academy of Music with Professor Natallia Tashchylina. The 17-year-old pianist has a history of awards beginning when he was 10 years old. Recent awards include a Laureate diploma for the Ninth International competition for Young Pianists in Paris (2009), the Grand Prize of the International Competition for Young Pianists in St. Petersburg (2009), and the Grand Prize for the Special Fund of the Presidential Fund (2010). Andrei has performed concertos with the State Chamber Orchestra (2008) and with the State Symphony Orchestra (2008 and 2010).
