Anastasia Rizikov began her early piano studies with teacher Maia Spis in Toronto, Canada. Now twelve years old, she has earned numerous first-prize awards: the International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz, Kiev (2006); the Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition, New York (2009); the American Protégé International Piano Competition, New York (2010); the Third Canadian Chopin Competition (2010); The Thousand Islands International Chopin Piano Competition, USA (2010); and most recently in Concurso International de Piano Rotary, Spain (2011). She has performed with major orchestras in Ukraine, USA, and Canada; and performed at Carnegie Hall in New York and the Kremlin in Moscow.
