A student of Dr. Sasha Starcevich in Vancouver, Canada, Vivian Lou was the youngest of six winners of the Seattle Young Artists Music Festival in 2009. Now fourteen, Vivian has been awarded prizes in numerous competitions, including the Festival on the Lake Concerto Competition in Vancouver and the 2010 Canadian Chopin Competition. Vivian studies in a French immersion program and performs music at senior centers with a group called “We Youth Help”. During time off from her study and performance schedule, Vivian enjoys skiing, swimming and volleyball.
