Robin Giesbrecht began winning piano competitions at the age of seven. Now 17, he studies at the "Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover ", Germany. In 2006, Robin played on Mozart's own pianoforte on a worldwide broadcast celebrating Mozart's 250th birthday. He participates annually in music festivals throughout Europe. The city of Hamburg and the country of Germany have honored him for his achievements, and he has several times received the First prize with the highest possible scores in the Rotary International competition, the Grotrian-Steinweg competition and Germany's National Young Musician competition. He performed Beethoven's First Piano Concerto with the NDR philharmony and the Rousse Philharmony.
