About Evan:

Evan Lee, 16, lives in Brooklyn, New York.  He has studied piano since the age of 5, and in 2009 was accepted into the Juilliard School’s Pre-College Division, where he has studied with Victoria Mushkatkol for five years.  Lee made his solo debut at the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall at the age of 8, and he made his concerto debut with the Pre-College Symphony and the New York Camerata Orchestra in 2011.  Evan has been featured on the National Public Radio program From the Top.
Evan has been awarded the Gold Medal in the  American  Association for Development of the Gifted and Talented (AADGT)  International “Passion of Music” Piano Competition in 2009; First Place in the 2010 American Protégé International Piano Competition; and First Place in the 2011 International Leschetizky  Gifted Young Pianists Concerto Competition.
Evan is a scholarship recipient of The Chopin Foundation of the United States and the Gordon Roberts and Isidore Kleppel Scholarships from the Juilliard School of Music.  Past teachers include the late Dr. Herbert Stessin, from 2007 to 2009.
