About JiWon:
Jiwon was only nine when she performed her first solo recital at Mozart Hall and Kumho Art Hall in Seoul, South Korea. Since then JiWon continued her successful performances and competition appearances. Among her awards are 3rd prize at 2018 Cleveland International Piano Competition for Young Pianists, Diploma at 2nd Grand Piano Competition in 2018, 1st prize at Dong-a concours, Young-chang concours, 2nd prize at Liszt Competition in 2017, 2nd prize at the3rd International Festival of Classical Music & Competition for Young Pianists Astana Piano Passion in Kazakhstan, and 4th prize at the 1st Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians in China in 2015.

Jiwon’s orchestra appearances include Irkutsk philharmonic, Canton Symphony Orchestra , State Academic Symphony Orchestra in 2018 and with Astana Philharmonic & Salzburg Chamber in 2015.

JiWon performed solo recitals in such venues as Kumho Art Hall (for Kumho Foundation Prodigy Invitation Series), Cultural Center of the Philippines, St. Paul University of Philippines, as well as Philippines Chopin Society. Most recently she performed a solo recital at Russia Irkutsk Stars on Baikal Festival.

JiWon participated in master classes with John O’Conor, Pascal Roge, Roberto Plano, Maxim Mogilevsky , Ekaterina Mechetina, Gerrit Zitterbart, and Hye-kyoung Seo.
