About Chun Lam:
Chun Lam started playing piano at the age of 5 at GMC Music Academy. Since 2009 he has been studying at the GMC Young Pianist Program under the tutelage of Ms. Rizzo Chung. 

Chun Lam has been collecting accolades in many local, national and international competitions, most notably representing Hong Kong in Steinway & Sons International Youth Piano Competition in China, where he won the First Prize, as well as The Amateur Grand Prize. Chun Lam received Gold Award at the 17th Chopin International Piano Competition in Asia, this success was followed by invitations to participate in Piano Texas 2016. Other notable prizes include: The First Prize of The Japan Hamamatsu PIARA International Piano Competition,  Second Prize both in 2nd Zhuhai International Competition for Young Musicians and The 4th Hanoi International Piano Competition. He has performed in his native Hong Kong with the Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra; in Vietnam with the VNAM Symphony Orchestra; and in China, with the Salzburg Chamber Soloists, with which he made his concerto debut in 2017.

Chun Lam frequently attends the masterclasses of world famous pianists and teachers, such as: Maestro Dang Thai Son, Dr. Tamás Ungár, Professor William Grant Nabore and among others.
