About Vitaly:
Vitaly was born into a family of musicians and started studying piano at the age of five. At the age of seven he entered the St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory Music School, where he is currently studying in the piano class of Professor Alexander Sandler.

Vitaly is the winner of many international competitions in Kiev, Stockholm, London, Vienna, Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities. Since 2014 he is a scholarship holder of the International Charitable Fund of Vladimir Spivakov. Since 2016 Vitaly Petrov has been studying at the Summer Academy for Young artists (Bavarian Music Academy Marktoberdorf) in the piano class of Professor Willem Brons, and since 2018 – at the Summer Music Academy in Vienna in the piano class of Professor Vladimir Kharin.

He takes part in concerts and festivals in various cities of Russia, Germany and Austria. The most significant performances of Vitaly took place in the St. Petersburg Philharmonia, in the Pskov Philharmonia Concert Hall, in the Brahms Musikverein Hall in Vienna.

Vitaly’s repertoire includes classical, romantic music and works by contemporary composers.
