About Jonathan:
Jonathan started piano lessons at the age of seven. Jonathan’s first foray into piano competition was very successful: in 2012, Jonathan became 3rd Prize Winner in the Indonesia Steinway Youth Piano Competition in under 10 category, and 2nd Prize Winner along with Prize for Best Performance of Mazurka in the 5th ASEAN International Chopin Piano Competition in Kuala Lumpur. Since then, he won many prizes in national and international piano competitions.

Jonathan has played for many notable musicians, including Steven Spooner (USA), Josef Anton Scherrer (Germany), Stephen Hough (UK), Manfred Aust (Germany), Boris Kraljevic (Montenegro/Singapore), Li Ming-Qiang (China), Thomas Hecht (USA/Singapore), and many others.

Jonathan had already given many public performances of solo piano works as well as piano concertos. He has appeared with the Jakarta Concert Orchestra under Avip Priatna, as well as with the Jakarta Sinfonietta under Iswargia R.Sudarno. In 2016 Jonathan gave a major solo recital Jakarta, as part of the Steinway Concert Series.

Jonathan recently became the youngest Indonesian Young Steinway Artist. At his Steinway & Sons Young Steinway Artist Gala Concert he performed two concertos: Mozart Concerto in C Major, K. 467 and Tchaikovsky Concerto No. 1, in B-flat Minor, Op. 23.
