About Solomon:
Solomon Ge is a pianist, composer, and violist from San Jose, CA. He studied piano from the age of six, and won prizes in the Zeiter Piano Competition, Marilyn Mindel Piano Competition, Thera Rabinowitch Competition, MTAC concerto competition, US Open Music Competition, and the MTNA Senior Piano Competition. He has also studied piano with Dr. Haggai Niv.

Solomon studies composition with Dr. Ira Taxin and Dr. Pamela Quist. He is the winner of the 2018 MTNA State Senior Composition Competition, 2018 CMS Webster University Young Composers Competition, US Open Composition Competition, and is a three-time Finalist in ASCAP Young Composers Competition. Solomon is listed in the prestigious Tribeca New Music’s “Emerging Composers” list. Solomon studies viola with Mr. Jay Liu. As violist Solomon plays with Camino Youth Symphony.

Solomon attended Amalfi Coast Music Festival in Italy, studying with Boris Slutsky, Bernadene Blaha, Thomas Lymenstull, Kevin Fitz-Gerald, and Hong Xu.

Solomon enjoys serving the community, performing at fundraising concerts and in senior homes as an active member of Bay Area Music Society. Solomon is an avid chamber musician. Besides music, he enjoys playing chess and soccer, both of which he has played competitively for many years.
