About Adrian:
Born in Karlsruhe, Germany, the 23-year-old pianist Adrian Brendle began studying the piano with Noriko Ishikawa-Kratzer at the age of 6. Since 2004, Professor Sontraud Speidel has been his teacher.
In 2005, Brendle was admitted to the University of Music in Karlsruhe as a pre-college student. After earning his high school diploma, he became a regular student of music.
The young pianist has won several prizes in international competitions. His most recent was first prize in the International Professor Dichler Competition in Vienna.
His solo recitals have been highly estimated by audiences. “When he plays, a majestic atmosphere starts to fill the auditorium," said the Nordbayerischer Kurier in Bayreuth, Germany, in 2012.
Brendle is also dedicated to chamber music, which has always played an essential role in his studies.
