About JiaXin:
A Shanghai native JiaXin started piano at the age of 5. Five years later, she continued her studies at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in the elementary school and was admitted to the middle school afterwards, where she received music and academic scholarships. JiaXin has received awards for her performance from age five on. Most recently she received first prize at the Beijing District of the Hong Kong-Asia International Open Piano Competition in the Professional Young Artist section, second prize at the 3rd Kawai Asia Piano Competition, and first prize and the special Liszt award at the 75th Steinway International Piano Competition in the Professional B section.
