About Carmen:
In the five years from the time Carmen began playing piano at age five to age ten, she won over 25 piano competitions. She studies the pre-college division of The Juilliard School of Music and Arts in New York. Some of her recent accomplishments include first place at the 2nd Asia-Pacific International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition and the Normann Juilliard Piano Scholarship Competition, and the LIMSA International Music Competition in 2012. Carmen has performed with Kwak-Sung and the Daego Symphony Orchestra in 2012 and has been featured in solo performance at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.
